Corin Homes Professionals are dedicated to helping you build your new home. Our commitment is to work with you in personalizing a beautifully detailed home that will offer many years of comfort, warmth, and long term happiness. This process requires careful attention to detail. Therefore, it is important that only those parties making the decisions be present at the Design Center. Please provide your Sales Professional with a list of your preferred upgrades at the time of your blueprint review and at your Design Center appointment.
THE SELECTION SHEET
Your selections for standard carpeting, flooring, cabinets, and other features will be specified on the Selection Sheet. Upgraded selections requiring additional funds will be specified and incorporated into the final contract price. Supplies, services, and materials for your home are ordered based upon your choices. Be aware that a delay in completing your selections can result in a later delivery date which could have a possible affect on your mortgage interest rate.
CHANGES TO THE SELECTION SHEET
It is sometimes possible to make additions or deletions to your Selection Sheets after the initial selections, but it is important that you check with your Sales Professional first. If additional items are added, deleted, or revised, there will be a charge assessed for processing these changes as well as for the appointment time. There are certain personal selections which will require additional earnest money, and a check will be required at the time of selection. All changes must be in writing on an official Enhancement Change Order.
Corin Homes may be required to make minor product substitutions or blueprint revisions while building your home. This may be caused by changes in types of products, new information or interpretations concerning building codes or practices, code revisions, design improvements, or product availability. When substitutions are necessary, we will preplace the item with a product that matches your original selection as closely as possible. Major substitutions, such as countertops or floor coverings, will not be made without your prior approval. In every case, the substituted items will be of equal quality, style, and value.
In order for the street scene to be most pleasing to the eye, it is important to monitor all brick selections throughout the community. Due to unforeseen delivery problems, back ordered brick, and the brick layout on your street, we require that you make three (3) brick selections in order of preference. Your Sales Professional will provide you with deadlines for making your brick selections.
ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE
Your Sales Professional will inform you of the projected completion date for your home. Keep in mind that this is an estimate, and the actual closing date of your home will depend upon a variety of factors, including payment for all change order items, making all selections and changes in a timely manner, timely completion of mortgage financing, weather conditions, and other situations beyond our control. Corin Homes will endeavor to keep you advised of any major changes in the construction schedule.
